2238. This was the year that it all began. A plane full of 134 people crashed on an uncharted island. None of the people were killed due to the parachutes that were on board. Knowing that they couldn't survive alone, ones who had landed without any one around, set out in search for others. Many people were found within the first night and by the next night everyone had been found. They held a meeting amoungst themselfs and found out information about each other. Oddly enough, all of these people believed in war.  They decided to start a life, a life with no war and no fights. The first thing that they that they did was make a name. They voted on all kinds of names for this new found utopia until the perfect one was found. It would be called Hatikva, meaning "the hope" in hebrew.  

 

B. What is the time line for the creation and development of this Utopia?
If you began building tomorrow, where will your society be in 5 years?
In 50 years? In 500 years?
    5 Years- In the year 2243, Hatikva will still be being built. It will have all of the basic needs and easy wants of people. The technology will still be improving and a few bottles will still be being sent out.
    50 years- In fifty years hopefully everything will be running smoothly.  All of the people will be there and no bottles will be sent out anymore. Most of the technology will be done, but as life normally goes, things will still be being invented. All of the basic and a few complex needs will have been folfilled. 
   500 years- All will be done. Everything that people want of need will be easy to get and all things will be running smoothly. All of the people have figured out life on the island and know how to make many things. It is now, a successful utopia.

This utopia is not found or stumbled across. People are born into Hatikva since it is an uncharted island. one of the hopes of Hatikva is that it will not be found so that there is less likely chance of it having to be part of a war.
