Dillon's Utopia‎ > ‎

Culture, Social Customs, and Family Structure

A. Education of citizens is an important aspect in most civilizations.

How will this Utopia respond to the following issues:

1. Who will have access to education and how will they access it?

In Techno Topia everyone has the ability to use education but children come first before adults. If anyone would like to learn they have the ability to and they can go to an E-library. An E-library is like a public storage data house it stores all information and anyone has access to it.

2. What will be taught and how will it be taught?

Everything that is appropriate for the person’s age. This is determined by how the brain works. How you figure out what should be taught is totally determined by the study of the person’s brain. In Techno Topia technology is used to determine what kind of learning a human gets. By studying all the parts of the brain you can make individualized learning environments in which people will learn to their maximum capacity. When children turn 16 then they take the utopia test to see if they can actually be able to live in Techno Topia.

3. What is the value placed on the role of Educators?

There is not a job of specific educators, in Techno Topia. Information is freely shared. If a person finds out new information it is put in an E-library. This takes out the role of educators and it makes everyone equal. A person could know more than another but the information is public so you could end up learning all that they know.

B. How will this Utopia address the following issues regarding religion?

Techno Topia is a free utopia. There is no state religion, the reason why there is no religion is because people are able to come and go as they please. After the age of 16, In Techno Topia, there are hundreds of different religions. The way that people come and go is teleportation. When people leave my utopia they can’t speak about Techno Topia and if they do they are stricken from coming back and their mind is erased of the idea of Techno Topia.

C. Arts and Entertainment:

Most great societies encourage the flourishing of the full range of human talents. (Note: do not address censorship in this section; see the Government section) How will this Utopia accommodate the following activities:

1. Literature (fiction, nonfiction, poetry, drama, etc.)

My utopia will encourage litterature by

  • creating E-Libraries easy to find

  • Books can be accessed from anywere

  • all range of books may be published

  • people are able to make comments on other peoples books

2. Fine arts (painting, sculpture, drawing, acting, dance, etc.)

Techno Topia will incorporate the fine arts by opening learning sessions. Like an open house for art or a sit down studio. In Techno Topia the fine arts and the engineers will also create all the buildings and allow for growth the city.

3. Music (instrumental - classic, instrumental - contemporary,

vocal, etc.)

Music is a part of everyday life in Techno Topia. Every piece of music from around the world is accessible anywhere, the good part about this is that none of the music costs money. If anyone puts up music it is like YouTube anyone in the entire utopia can access it at any time. Music is the way that Techno Topia has fun . dancing g to music and other activities is also part of music.

4. Film (documentary, animation, fiction, etc.)

5. Sports

Techno topia is able to accomidate for all of these sorts because in the year that Techno opia was created the invention of virual life sports was able to be created. if you notice many of these sports are played around the world, when a person plays a game in the virtual center you have a robot that performs your exact moves and puts it up on national television.

D. Food: Will this Utopia have a national dish? What will be.

The Kiwano Fruit is the national fruit of Techno Topia, the Kiwano Fruit Once grown only in New Zealand. Kiwano Melons are now grown in California as well. Consumers are drawn to these intriguing, yet versatile tropical fruits whose look easily captures attention. The spiky, orange colored shells of Kiwano Melons encase a soft, succulent bright green flesh.

E. How has your Utopia dealt with the following isues of social customs:

    1. New vs. Old Holidays

The Only National holiday is Techno Topia Day the founding day. Other than that there are holidays that other people celebrate but they are not national Holidays.

    2. Social Classes (Are different groups of people viewed differently?)

1.The Giver

a.       This is the highest class of people these may be people of all knowledge level and let known all of their discoveries

b.      These people help the utopia to live and thrive

2.The Thinker

a.       Theses are usually people who try to do things all by themselves, they say that they don’t need any help from anyone in the entire utopia they can do it themselves.

b.      These people only share when they are completed

c.       Middle Class People

3.The Snob

a.       This is a group of people who think al of the time and could make great strides in Techno Topian life but don’t give anything away.

b.      These are the lowest level people and they usually are taken out of the utopia even though they are smart they still need to be albe to share ideas.

   F. How are families structured in your Utopia? (Is there a concept of marriage? How do children interact with their elders?)

In Techno Topia marriage is usually between a man and a woman but there are no laws against gay marriage. Kids in Techno Topia just act like regular kids, they are taught by their elders and are respectful. If a child rebels he or she is thought why that was the wrong thing to do.

G. How do men and women relate to one another?

Men and women relate together just as you would today except, sexual harassment laws are changed. If a person just touches another person on the shoulder it is not sexual harassment. Also if a person is raped the rapist is sentenced to death or life in jail.
