Deepstar, the Main Space Station


Description

12/21/2112. Earth is an ocean with no ice and all land submerged under former ice caps and glaciers. Deepstar has been launched on a 20-Stage Rocket have been constructed in orbit around Earth, 5 Delta-Gliders are loaded with 5 people each, willing to explore and revive life as we know it.

12/31/2119. Deepstar is in high Titancentric orbit, and the Delta-Gliders have undocked from Deepstar, leaving the station flying solo with a crew for the first time. The entire docking complexes are evacuated as there will be no Delta-Gliders in case of emergencies. Delta-Gliders Carina, Hydra, Octans, Auriga, and Indus have de-orbited and are entering the atmosphere. It is a hot reentry for Titan: 75 degrees. Each Delta-Glider Lands in a Different area, establishing 5 cities. Altair Centauri has been born.

THE SEVEN COMMANDMENTS

Safety

Altair Centauri takes safety seriously to prevent death. Titan's surface pressure is 50% higher than Earth's, requiring safe pressure in buildings. Air also has to be protected as the atmosphere on Titan is 95% Nitrogen, and almost 0% oxygen. In space, there is no pressure or gas whatsoever. Because of this, proper care of Deepstars and Delta-Glider are enforced.
