| A. How will this Utopia come into being? Be very specific about deliberate creation versus accidental creation. With suspicion that a terrorist attack including nuclear weapons more severe than September 11th will happen, the US government sent this to all legal citizens of the United States, preparing for the upcoming event: So in preparation, this Utopia was built 300 feet below the ground. It was filled with food and supplies in case the outside world didn't survive. This is the door that enters into the underground bunker: This is a picture from inside the bunker, which was filled with food , water, and supplies so that life could continue on after the attack. Its full capacity was 1,000,000 people. It was almost full during the attack. The citizens in the bunker only had to remain in there for 20 hours. With blankets, pillows, food, toilets, and heating ( since it was 52 degrees without) the citizens could comfortably live for this amount of time. One week after the completion of this bunker, the event happened. Luckily, all of the US citizens who had completed this test and passed it, and all children; fled down stairs into this secret layer, where they were safe from the attack. They felt slight vibration from the bombs exploding above. After they didn't feel anymore shaking, some brave people decided to go explore and see what damage had been caused. When they walked up the stairs onto the Earth's surface, all human life was gone. There was evidence that there had been a nuclear war, and as they imagined, all human life-forms on the Earth were gone. As they explored more, they found areas that hadn't been too destroyed ( orchards, wheat fields, some streets, etc.) But now, it was up to them to create a new world. They could form the government however they wanted, or no government at all. They all knew that they could create a new Utopia, but how will they do it, this is what you will find out. B. What my Utopia is based on and why it will work... My Utopia is based on safety. After such a traumatic experience of the attack, all of the citizens #1 priority is to keep their family safe and re-start the world. My Utopia will work because all of the citizens in my Utopia each have their own skills that they had learned before the attack. So, with these skills they can use it to rebuild a new Utopia. So in my new Utopia, everything that is done based on safety. Since being safe is the most important thing to my citizens, then if they are safe from anything, they will be happy, and my society will be a Utopia. C. What is the time line for the creation and development of this Utopia? If you began building tomorrow, where will your society be in 5 years? In 50 years? In 500 years? In 5 years, our society will the basic layers of a Utopia( nessecities, communication, the start of government, rules, and buildings) and the starting of complete safety. In 50 years, our society will have entertainment, and everyone who was in the bunker, will use what they learned before the attack to create the great things we had before the attack. We will be safe from all things that could be controlled before the attack ( weapons, fire extingushers, alarm systems, life vests.) In 500 years, we will start to create our own technologies, and expand on what was created before the nuclear war, through inventions. And we will have complete safety from everything ( lightening, plane crashes, hurricanes, earthquakes, global warming, tornado.) D. How do people find out about your Utopia? Do people accidentally stumble across it through exploration? Is a member of the society telling the story of the utopia? The people who survived the nuclear war, in the bunker, had the decision of how to create this new society. By passing the test to get into the bunker, they were the ones who would live in this new society. |

I really like that your Utopia is based on a real life experience, and safety. I have one question though. If all life was gone and nuclear war was evident, how did your people survive? Did they supply the underground place with food and supplies that would sustain them for a long time until they were able to do something else, or what?
This was really good. I agree with superk54 that the idea of making your utopia like a real life experience was a cool idea. But I was wondering that if there is no signs of life above ground, how will you provide food for a million people without seeds for like tomatoes and carrots. And wheat to make bread for toast. And cake. And eventually if the population grows you will need to expand.
