| A. Describe and, if possible, name the informing political system. My societies political system is the watchful eye. The watchful eye is in charge of making rules, changing them, and giving out consequences. If you observe my commandments, you will notice that anything that is considered to by "wrong," go against my commandments. So if everyone follows the commandments or is punished after the break my commandments, we will have a Utopia in which no one breaks common rules.  C. Describe the level of participation (do you do them) and how they are accomplished for the following governmental activities: i. Choosing/removing leaders Our government is the watchful eye. So, when a current watchful eye turns 60 years old, they select a 16 year old who would be a good suite for this respected job. ii. Creating/changing laws The watchful eye is in charge of changing and making laws. They observe what is happening in the society and how the laws and commandments could be changed so that any problems are eliminated. D. What are the “checks” on governmental power, if any? Every 10 years, each citizen over the age of 5 is in charge of filling out a survey on how they think the government 9 the watchful eye) is doing at their job. They comment and the watchful eye is given 1 year to read the comments and improve on them. Then, after the year is up, another evaluation is sent out and the citizens decide if the changes the watchful eye have made are working. If the people are as a whole, extremely unsatisfied with the job of the watchful eye, they have the power to overthrow the watchful eye and choose a new one.  E. How does this government support or suppress the expression of individual ideas? By sending out the evaluation of the watchful eye, this is allowing the citizens to have input on how the society is being run. This way, they can express their individual ideas with a limit on the amount of them. F. What are the methods and means of law enforcement and military operations (both peace keeping and war making): 1. At the local level? Within the different areas there are watchful eyes who are in charged of the discipline within their own region. They are only in charge of discipline and trade with other regions. 2. At the national level? The national level of the watchful eye is more like the president. They are responsible for keeping peace among the regions, preventing a civil war. They are also in charge of overseeing the watchful eyes of the different regions. In the case of a civil war, they resolve the issues. 3. At the international (or global) level? Since currently we are the only nation on the globe, we do not have to worry about war with other nations/peace making. G. What type, if any, of diplomacy (working with other countries without violence) will this Utopia use? Within regions, we will have a trade system overseen by the national watchful eye. We don't have other nations on the globe so all issues will occur only within societies. As a national watchful eye, it is their job to create peace among regions/ resolve any violence inflicting issues. H. What type, if any, currency will this society have? We have a "Eye" bill. Though, within our society, we will not rely much on the Eye. We will mainly operate on a "library" system and trade vs. buying and selling. The bill looks like an eye and depending on how much the bill is worth, the cornea of the eye is a different color. $1- green $5- blue $10- brown $20- purple $50- red $100- orange  Our Constitution: PREAMBLE: Speech given by a man in the bunker who would later become the national watchful eye... " We, as the survivors, have the duty to pay respect to those who have deceased. It is our responsibility to honor those who deceased in the world's destruction. We must create the ultimate safe society where we will not have another nuclear war. The first was traumatic enough. We must strive to create a Utopia. For the world deserves that and the people deserve that. Thank you Our constitution is a building constitution, one that will be added to as our soceity becomes more mature.  Our Commandments/ Laws to follow: 1. Thou shall not put thy self in danger. 2. Thou shall not put thy neighbor in danger. 3. Safety always comes first. 3. Behave knowing "the watchful eye" knows your every move. 4. Thou shall not create dangerous situations. 5. All shall be treated equally, even if thou have more or less. 6. Thou shall stay faithful to thy society. 7. Thou shall not annoy others, putting you in danger. 8. Thou shall always try their best. 9. Thou shall act as yourself. 10. Thou shall treat each other with immense respect. 11. Thou shall understand that respect is granted as thou respect others. 12. Thou shall do thou daily tasks and contribute to the society as great as anyone else. 13. THOU SHALL NOT KILL ANY OTHER HUMAN. |
