In Adam's Utopia, daily life is set by each person, within the the jobs and goals that have been set. Birth is a gift. The new person is a part of the society from the beginning and is treated like family by everyone. As they grow older their introduction to daily life starts slowly but because it is who they are from the beginning, they are the true utopians. Death is seen as a part of life and the passing of each person from this utopia to the next. Their loss is felt but life goes on. The citizens see freedom of choice, friendship and happiness as the most beautiful things. People seem to like daylight, bright colors and soft music. Peace and happiness are the keys. To stop corruption, there is self control that keeps people in line because each member wants the same things... a brighter future of peace and freedom. If someone falls outside of what is accepted, those around them remind the others of what is right and accepted. Because the utopia is built on a system of freedom within limits, people do not look for errors in others but see them as opportunities to grow and learn. If it hurts someone else, they may be asked to choose if they still think the utopia is a place for them because their choices do not fit anymore.
The keys to the WHAT IFS of the society are:
What if someone doesn't follow the rules but won't leave if asked to consider it?
What if too many people are in the utopia and we run out of room?
What if people change and don't see the freedoms the same way and want to set stricter rules?
To enter or stay in the utopia, people have to understand and want to be part of a group of people that think freedom of acceptance in their society is the most important thing. And their freedoms can't interfere with the freedoms of others.
D. What are the Maps, Seals, Flags, interactive 3d models of your utopia?
