I. Core Beliefs

a. What are the essential truths (belief statements) of your -Ism? You should have between 7 and 10 belief statements that outline the goals of your belief system. (i.e., I believe that all humans have the capacity to make the world a better place. Or, I believe that people are essentially evil and must be made good through a well-structured society. You must use Idopia as a place to host these belief statements.)
Core Belief Thingi -  your life is your own. so live it.

      1.there's no turning back.

2.life is what you make of it, not what others tell you.
3.you can't hide from life and still expect to live one.
4.you have to move forward to meet/make your destiny instead of being afraid and waiting for it to come to you.

5.don't put things off, there won't be time to do it later.
      6.it's good to rebel sometimes.

7.a lot of the time, you'll be wrong and they'll be right. get over it.

8.if you're afraid of dying, the only thing you'll ever do is try to avoid it. just accept that it's going to happen and use your time to do things that you like doing.
9.even if you're at the very end of everything, don't give in to something you don't believe in.

b. How do you act differently because of your beliefs?
-i try to follow them, even though sometimes there are things that make it almost impossible to follow them.
c. What is the purpose of life according your –Ism?
-just to live as much as you can in your life time.
d. How does the rest of the world differ from your core beliefs? Why are you right? (Why do you keep your beliefs in the face of others who do not share them?)
-some people in the world just give in their entire life and my entire belief system (and life) is based on not giving in. i'm right in most cases because there tends to be an alternate compromise that doesn't involve you or them giving in completely. i keep my beliefs because without my beliefs i am nothing and then what point is there in living?
e. What beliefs do you you share with others? (What common ground do you see between your -Ism and others' -Isms)
-alena also believes that everyone has the right to be themselves, and so does shannon.
f. Which core belief do you think is the central one that all other beliefs revolve around? (You can create a concept map of one of your Core Beliefs using Bubbl.us, Inspiration, or Gliffy)

II. Role in Society

a. What is your role in society according to your -Ism? (How do you fit in among your peers?)
-my role in life is kind of the rebel or the rebellious person. i think i fit in ok, but i probably stand out quite a bit too.
b. What is your method of connection to others? (Are you part of a greater whole? Do you use emotions? Are you able to relate to others through a common experience? Do you see yourself in groups or cliques?)
-i just connect. if that person and i have something in common then we connect through that but i have a few friends that we just decided to be friends and we were. normally it's the other person initiating the connecting, because i tend to be very very shy around people i haven't known for a while.
c. How much do you care for yourself vs. other people? (Is your –Ism more concerned with selfishness or giving?)
-i care more for others normally, but sometimes i do act selfishly.
e. What is the prevailing metaphor or image that you would use to describe progress? Why would you define your –Ism with this image? (A ladder, a mountain, a treadmill, etc. Feel free to get an image from Morguefile or describe this metaphor through a bubblr strip. or Voicethread)
i would define my -ism with this image because it's like how i see life. to progress with life you have to keep going down the tunnel. the open spaces between the columns are like events or choices and you can chose which ones you want to participate in them or which choices are right for you just like you can chose to keep walking down the tunnel if you don't want to go through that open space.
f. How do you view major social institutions (government, welfare, religion, etc.)?
-i think that religion is important to people and it's also important for stability. government is normally a good thing, but sometimes either the person in charge is an idiot or the government just doesn't realize what the people are going through and so they make decisions that are hurtful to the people.

III. Solving Problems

a. What are the “societal goods” that you promote, and how do you promote these? (charity, equality, etc.)
-i couldn't really promote anything, other than things like charity, because most things that some people think are "good for society" someone else thinks that those things are "bad for society.
b. What are the “societal ills” that you try to solve, and how do you solve these? (racism, stress, etc.)
-again i couldn't really try to solve anything because someone somewhere would think that it's a bad idea to solve that thing.
c. How does your –ism deal with the invisible, but persistent pressures of life (Patriarchy, the pressure to be a success, the pressure to be cool)?
-my -ism deals with it by saying that, ya those pressures will be there, but if that doesn't seem like who you are don't push to reach it, because then you wouldn't be you anymore.

IV. Debate

a. What are the debates that you are concerned with waging? Why? (Abortion, Equality, Truth, Etc.)
-some of the debates i'm concerned with waging are truth (or honesty) because anything but the truth hurts even more than the truth.
-and the right to make your own decisions because if you don't make your own decisions you're pretty much nothing but a robot.
b. How would you frame these debates so that only your ideas would be seen as right?
-i would frame my debate about truth so i would be asking the opposistion if they wanted everyone lying to them and i would give examples from around the world of when lies hurt more than the truth would have. i would frame my other debate by saying that ya you can't really make your own decisions as a baby but you should start making your own decisions A.S.A.P. because have fun surviving college if your mommy and daddy make all your important decisions for you up till then.

V. Your Head

a. How does your –Ism influence the way you see everyday sights, events, and objects?
-my -ism influences the way i see things because i tend to think of major events as windows in a tunnel or the cracks between the peices of wood that make fences and so i kind of do a sort of tunnel vision and focus all of my concentration on that event and i don't normally notice the little things that are happening.
b. What is a day in your life like because of your -Ism?
-a day in my life is pretty much wake up, eat, go to school, do school stuff, eat lunch, do more school stuff, go home, do homework, eat dinner, read until 1 am. but i analyze things constantly throughout the day. sometimes i'll be thinking about whatever book i'm reading then and sometimes i'll be thinking about the most randoms things and wondering why they are where they are and why they look that way and what they're supposed to do and stuff like that.

VI. Other Important Aspects

a. What are the other defining aspects of your –Ism that are not discussed in the other sections of this Outline?
-music is a big part of my life. i can listen to different songs and be happy or calm or clear-headed. some songs i'll listen to when i'm angry and while they're playing i'll get even more angry and as soon as it's over i'll be fine.
