| The thing that I would like to remember of all my 2 years at the Academy of Discovery is the JOURNEY/ ROCK LOBSTA' concert in Mrs.L's room. It gave closure to my 8th grade year. I liked that it was the most random thing. here are the lyrics for rock lobsta'! We were at a party His ear lobe fell in the deep Someone reached in and grabbed it It was a rock lobster We were at the beach Everybody had matching towels Somebody went under a dock And there they saw a rock It wasn't a rock It was a rock lobster Motion in the ocean His air hose broke Lots of trouble Lots of bubble He was in a jam He's in a giant clam Down, down... Underneath the waves Mermaids wavin' Wavin' to mermen Wavin' sea fans Sea horses sailin' Dolphins wailin' Red snappers snappin' Clam shells clappin' Mussels flexin' Flippers flippin' Down, down... Let's rock! Boys in bikinis Girls in surfboards Everybody's rockin' Everybody's fruggin' Twistin' round the fire Havin' fun Bakin' potatoes Bakin' in the sun Put on your noseguard Put on the lifeguard Pass the tanning butter Here comes a stringray There goes a manta ray In walked a jelly fish There goes a dogfish Chased by a catfish In flew a sea robin Watch out for that pirahna There goes a narwhal Here comes a bikini whale! here are the lyrics for journey's dont stop belevin'! Just a small town girl Living in a lonely world She took the midnight train going anywhere Just a city boy Born and raised in South Detroit He took the midnight train going anywhere A singer in a smoky room A smell of wine and cheap perfume For a smile they can share the night It goes on and on and on and on {Refrain} Strangers, waiting, up and down the boulevard Their shadows searching in the night Streetlight people, living just to find emotion Hiding somewhere in the night Working hard to get my fill Everybody wants a thrill Paying anything to roll the dice Just one more time Some will win, some will lose Some were born to sing the blues Oh the movie never ends It goes on and on and on and on {Refrain} Don't stop believing Hold on to that feeling Streetlight people I think that this was the first and last time these two bands ever meet but it was the greatest concert ever! |
