Dear Friends and Supporters, 

My name is Melissa Chern, Project Lead of "A Touch of Miracles," a community charity fundraiser benefiting Children's National Medical Center.   Asian American Success (AASuccess) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to developing student leadership as well as providing the ability to "Perfect The Act of Giving Back."   

Your support has made 2008 a very memorable and exciting time for AASuccess! You enabled us to organize and create opportunities for students to develop their leadership skills through a number of very successful volunteer projects in the community. This past summer, our annual scholarship program awarded more than $6000 dollars to both student leaders and scholarship winners. In July 20, 2008, AASuccess student leaders and professional volunteers chose to give back by facilitating the organization and execution of a health fair organized by the Vietnamese Medical Society in Northeast America, wherein more than 400 blood tests were given to low income and uninsured patients.

We are very proud of the students’ progress from the past year, and could not have accomplished this without your support and generosity.  

AASuccess now proudly presents a community fundraiser for the National Children’s Medical Center, which is the largest private non-profit medical and research facility in the mid-Atlantic region dedicated exclusively to the care of infants, children, adolescents, and young adults.  

On behalf of AASuccess, please accept our invitation to attend our "Touch of Miracles" event Benefiting Children’s Hospital and AAS Internship Fund.  The event will be held at the Arlington Arts Center, September 6, 2008, at 7pm.
