OK ladies and gentlemen, this one has a story. This body and neck was carved, tooled, painted and finished at the east coast New Jersey, USA factory (not to be confused with the NJ guitars built BC,Rich at the NJ factory in the orient). This guitar was one of the ones that had its paint and finish done just before the factory closed. It had never had any screw holes, hardware and or even the holes drilled for the controls. If I remember correctly we had it afitted with very nice American Humbuckers, possibly Gibson. Tuners are Grover Roto-O-matics with upgraded pearloid stair step buttons. Note that the diamond style inlays in the fret board are Abalone not traditional mother of pearl. Jumbo frets, Gibson style tune-a-matic with TBR tail piece, complete with fine tuners. There is one minor, minor, minor, dimple in the bridge pickup cover. Translucent red with our favorite neck-thru is the way we love B.C. Rich Mockingbirds. Comes complete with non-original hard shell case, black tolex, black leather ends, white piping with a complimentary hot pink interior custom formed to the body................................................... $1,050.00 |
