We are in a position to secure federal funding for 2-1-1. 

Over the next 4 months, everyone within the 2-1-1 movement will be asked to participate in intense national, state and local campaigns to secure the passage of the Calling for 2-1-1 Act.   (Here is the

proposed Senate legislation: S.211; and the proposed House of Representatives legislation:  H.R.211.)

And over the next few days and few weeks, we will be making our first requests for action, support and follow-up. We will be providing materials and information. And we are expecting ... action, support and follow-up.
 
We will all be doing everything possible to pass this legislation.
